Implant Direct sells a full line of industry-compatible abutments for internal tri-lobe, hex & octagon connection implants. Implant Direct will provide a free replacement implant and abutment for a failed Nobel Biocare, Zimmer, BioHorizons or Straumann implant used with an Implant Direct abutment if the respective company refuses to honor its warranty due to use of a competitor abutment with its implant.
Plus an additional $500 product credit will be issued (or if abutment was purchased by your laboratory, the credit will be issued to the laboratory’s account for your lab fees) if the failed competitor implant was not loaded prior to achieving osseointegration. A very small percentage of non-immediate load implant failures occur prior to abutment attachment so there is no justification for such refusal other than the desire of these companies to intimidate customers into buying overpriced abutments.

To initiate warranty claim:
Customer are advised to follow the INSTRUCTIONS ON SUBMITTING A WARRANTY COMPLAINT. Customer can receive a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number after initiating a warranty claim and will be notified of the status via email.
